Product Description The Claremont Chair combines both beauty and function with the exposed wood at the top of the chair back. An open area between the curved, exposed wood top rail and the upholstered back give an airy lightness and beauty to the chair. The space also creates a functional element of being able to move the chair by using the exposed wood parts instead of by touching upholstered fabric of the back. The tightly upholstered inside back features double needle stitching at the outer edges. The tightly upholstered arm has double needle stitching along the inner edge that flows in to the double needle stitching of the inside back. Exposed wood seat rails frame the base of the chair seat. The lightly scaled, tapered exposed wood legs are supported on the sides and across the back by stretchers.
